Montana Bowhunters Association Convention
March 14, 15, 16 in Missoula
Head on over to the 30th Annual Montana Bowhunters Association conference, March 14, 15 & 16, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula! This outdoor program is the perfect antidote for the March blues. It’s an event for the whole family and you are invited!
See the beauty and artistry of handcrafted bows by Montana craftsmen. Compare the latest in high technology compound bows. Check out Manufactures’ Row where you’ll see the best in outdoor equipment to make your Montana camping, hunting and exploring memorable. Participate or listen to a turkey and elk calling contest. Join your friends for the MBA banquet on Saturday evening.
Bring your bow, and shoot the pop-up 3-D course! Enjoy the trophy display and participate in seminars on Outdoor Survival and Rescue by Aerie Backcountry Sports Medicine, Dutch Oven Cooking, and Jewelry Beading. There will also be seminars by the “Fish Guy,” Les Ruthledge; Jim Posewitz, Founder of Orion the Hunter Institute; and Gene Wensel describing The Making of Primal Dreams & Using Trail Cameras.
The Bowhunters Association Conference also will be raffling and auctioning off lots of equipment items such as handmade traditional and compound bows, a canvas tent, tent stove, jewelry, lady’s wool vest, antler art creations, 3D targets, boots, knives, fishing rods, custom arrows, a game blind, western art, jewelry, binoculars, a game cart, and many other items.
Want some outdoor excitement? The Conference is raffling off an authentic African safari, a special youth/ladies/senior Montana hunt, a Canyon Ferry bowhunting excursion and two Montana float fishing trips!
As we just mentioned, the public is welcome! The charge is $5 or sign up for MBA membership and get in free. For the Sat. night banquet, preregistration (before March 1) is $45 (accomplished at www.mtba.org), $60 at the door, with $30 for kids 16 and under. We’ll see you there!
